Reasons for applying to SAKURA COLLECTION As a fashion student I am always inspired by the fashion, culture, and architecture of Japan. When I received information about Sakura Collection Asian Student Awards back then, I think that this is definitely a great opportunity for me as a fashion student to learn more and be able to showcase my designs! I created two looks inspired by the beautiful building located in Kyoto, named “Kin-Kakuji” for the final competition.
